Doggy Day Out = Tail Wags + New Beginnings!
Shelter life can be tough, even for the happiest pups.
That’s why Doggy Day Out is so important!
These informal field trips give our adoptable dogs a much-needed break from the shelter — time to explore, soak up the sun, and show off their true personalities outside of the kennel.
Sometimes, all it takes is one walk around the park or a visit to a dog-friendly patio for someone to fall in love.
Getting our dogs out into the community increases their chances of finding forever homes — and it gives them joy,
mental stimulation, and a break from the daily routine.
Want to be part of it? If you own or manage a local venue — coffee shop, brewery, senior center, bookstore,
or anywhere dog-friendly — we’d love to partner with you for a future Doggy Day Out!
